About Dr. Singh:

Jasmine Singh, D.O., is a compassionate and knowledgeable physician, currently pioneering a movement in cultural psychiatry while providing excellent care for her patients over telemedicine. Dr. Singh is a Board Certified Psychiatrist as a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

Dr. Singh graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Economics and a minor degree in Theater from University of California San Diego. Her background also involves studying Epidemiology, Creative Writing, and British Cultural History at the University of Cambridge.

She then went on to earn a medical degree at Touro University California College of Medicine in Vallejo, CA. While in medical school, Dr. Singh established a non-profit organization called the California Psychiatric Awareness Coalition—an organization to promote education about psychiatric illnesses.

Dr. Singh then went on to finish her training with a residency in psychiatry at the University of California San Francisco in Fresno, CA.

While in residency, Dr. Singh was invited to be a medical correspondent on a local television channel. Here she produced and engaged in segments on current topics aimed to spread mental health awareness and information to the masses.  Her segments are available to watch on her YouTube channel, "The Jazzy Doc” and a select few are available in the Media and Press section of this website. Dr. Singh holds a relationship with NPR and various other channels and podcasts, in addition to various magazines, newsletters, and even international television.  

In her practice, Dr. Singh specializes in mood disorders like depression and bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, as well as cultural and identity issues. Dr. Singh draws from a wide range of treatment modalities, including psychopharmacology, talk therapy, psychoeducation and wellness recommendations. While in residency, Dr. Singh completed specialized training in college student mental health.
